CASE STUDY · MEDIAVALUE
The operating system of the pharmacy.
Co-founder & Fractional CTO
Mediavalue (MV) digitises the day-to-day of the pharmacy (tasks, communication, training, time tracking) and is, at the same time, the channel through which laboratories reach pharmacy teams directly. Today it's used by more than 2,500 pharmacists and technicians.

A pharmacy is an operation of enormous, under-recognised complexity: managing the team and serving the public, more than 500 new products a year, 100,000+ references, safety alerts and regulatory compliance. And all of it propped up on sticky notes, wall calendars, notebooks and WhatsApp groups. The result is constant interruptions, scattered information and a permanent feeling of never having enough time.
Inside the platform
MV brings together in one place everything that used to be scattered. For the pharmacy team:
- Tasks and alerts: create, assign and automate recurring work.
- Internal messaging that replaces WhatsApp and email, legally compliant.
- Calendar, document library and campaigns.
- MV Channel: video training with progress tracking.
- Time tracking: hours, holidays and labour compliance.
- Extensible via MV Store, with apps added to fit each pharmacy.
The other side: the laboratories
MV is also the direct channel between laboratories and pharmacies, with no middlemen. The commercial, medical, marketing and pharmacovigilance teams publish segmented content and campaigns inside the tool the pharmacist already uses every day. Fewer repeated queries, less paper, and the sales force freed up for the visits that truly add value.
My role
As co-founder and CTO I defined the technical architecture and product roadmap, built and led the development team, and built the infrastructure on AWS to support a multi-tenant platform with two very different types of user (pharmacy and laboratory) on the same system.
The result
More than 2,500 pharmacists and technicians use MV to take the administrative load off their shoulders and win back time for what matters: people. A platform born with pharmacists among its shareholders and designed from inside the pharmacy.
